Paul Walker: Porsche GT Was My Dream Car

Four years before he died, Paul Walker sat down in an interview and said his ultimate "dream car" was the Porsche Carrera GT ... the very car he died in ... and the interview was captured on video. Paul was promoting "Fast & Furious" during the 2009 interview ... and raved about the GT -- saying, "That's the top car."Of course, Paul eventually got to ride in his dream car last week ... but it ended in tragedy when the car slammed into a tree and a pole, killing both Paul and the man driving the car.

What a tragedy!!!

"I AM THE NEXT MANDELA" Kanye West says

Kanye West is again under attack, and today - for claiming that he will soon be a bigger cultural and civil rights icon than Nelson Mandela.

In an interview with WGCI radio in Chicago, the American rapper said that yesterday's death of the 95-year-old South African leader will finally allow people to focus more of their attention on West's own accomplishments.

When Kanye was asked who, in his opinion, could possibly replace Nelson Mandela in terms of leadership, he responded,

"I am the next Nelson Mandela. I'm only 36 years old, and when I look at everything I've accomplished, it's the only comparison that makes any sense. By the time I'm 95, I'm going to be a bigger hero than he ever was."

West claims he liberates minds with his music. To his mind, that's more important than liberating "a few people from apartheid or whatever".

West continues that even though he has huge respect for Mandela, anyone can be replaced. The rapper says that he is already worshiped in the whole world and expects, noting,

"And there's more to come."

Health Focus: Depression

Feeling down from time to time is a normal part of life... But when these feelings take hold and won't go away, it becomes depression.

Depression is a medical illness that causes persistent feeling of sadness, low mood and loss of interest always accompanied by feelings of hopelessness, lack of energy and feeling little or no pleasure in the things that give you joy in the past. Other symptoms include loss of appetite, lack of concentration, problem remebering details, insomnia, excessive sleeping, fatigue, aches, pains and even digestive problems may result. Chronic cases of depression may result in suicidal attempts or even suicide itself.

Depression could be a normal reaction to certain life events or side effects of some medication such as hepatitis C drug medication and some drugs used to treat hypertension OR it could be a primary or associated feature of certain psychiatric syndromes.

So its always advisable to visit a doctor when feelings of depression persists. But here are simple ways in which to deal with depression;
1. Make a step, take a decision to go through it and stay focused... You can't do it if you don't want to

2. Take care of yourself... Shave your hair, use good perfume, paint your nails (ladies). This will make you feel better about yourself

3. Cultivate relationships... Isolation and loneliness make depression even worse. So go out, join a group, visit friends and family, go watch a movie, just do something with your time.
Don't forget to visit a doctor if it feels necessary.

Remember, life's short, enjoy it before its too late... God bless you and thanks for reading my blog.
